A customer was in recently looking for us to solve their problems with the Kia Sorento they own. The first complaint was the fact that they could not see very well when driving at night. The second complaint was the sound quality of the factory speakers were not good enough for the owner of this vehicle.
The first job we tackled was to improve the lighting quality on this vehicle for the customer. We knew that the Lumens Xenon HID lighting kit would satisfy this customer need. When the blue tinted glow of these HID lights are installed properly and aimed correctly they have 3 times the amount of light than normal bulbs. For our experienced technicians, the install of this lighting system was easy. The technicians installed a pair of mounting brackets that would hold the HID ballasts. They then installed the HID bulbs into the original light sockets on the vehicle. Once this was done the required wiring harnesses were installed. The Lumens kit is great as it does not require any cutting or soldering it is simply a plug and play installation. Our technicians than tackled the task of improving the sound quality for the customer. They knew a high-quality speaker would improve the sound quality to satisfy this customers needs so they chose to replace the front and rear door speakers with Infinity Kappa speaker units. The installation of these speakers is very straight forward. The technicians removed the door panels on all four doors. Then the original speakers were removed and the new Infinity units were installed. Re-installation of the four door panels finished the installation work on this customers vehicle.
