After installing the remote starter antenna and reinstalling all the removed interior trim panels they confirmed that the unit was functioning properly. The G9 remote starter unit has a 4 button remote transmitter that offers up to 3000 ft of range. Being a 2-way remote starter unit this unit uses a LED that is built into the remote transmitter to provide a visual confirmation that your vehicle started. On top of these wonderful features, it also includes keyless entry into your vehicle from an extended distance and even a trunk release button. One unique aspect of this remote starter system is the remote transmitter can be programmed to two different vehicles that are equipped with Compustar remote systems. This allows the use of one remote for two different vehicles.
