Mobile Video Installation in a Montreal Customers Dodge Caravan

We recently had a Montreal customer into Access Auto complaining of a common problem among all parents. This customer was finding it hard to entertain his kids when traveling in their Dodge Caravan. We knew we had a proper solution for this customer, front and rear mobile video displays and a DVD to play their kids favorite movies was the perfect solution.

This installation is a little unique as it requires large amounts of work to install. First our technicians fitted a DVD player into the center dash below the factory radio and heater controls that will provide crystal clear video to the two video screens that we were going to install. To install mobile video in modern vehicles requires the removal of the headliner and its customization, however this vehicle had an advantage. It was equipped with a factory headliner rail that contained rear HVAC controls and cubby holes but no video displays. Our technicians knew right away that two of these flip down locations would be perfect to install the video displays. After removing the many components and screws they lowered the headliner. After this was completed they installed the video screens into the factory drop down cubby hole locations that they previously chose for the location of these video screens. Wiring harnesses from the display screens were then properly routed and secured to the topside of the headliner all the way to the DVD player that our technicians had already installed. After all this work our experienced technicians re installed the headliner and took a break to “make sure” the DVD player was working properly with their favorite movie.

This Montreal customer now has a load full of happy people where ever they drive. No matter what the problem, Access Auto has a solution. Contact us now to find out how we can help you with yours.
