We recently had a customer with a Lexus RC come into our store wondering about the possibility of installing a remote starter on their vehicle. We have become experts when it comes to installing remote starters on all makes and models and knew it would be no issue.
Once the car was brought into the shop our install technicians got to work. They installed the required modules and wiring to provide this customer with a remote start system that will work for years to come. To make the installation look factory they hid all the wiring and modules under the dash hidden from sight. We used a unique product on this install. Normally aftermarket remote start systems use a separate key fob to start the vehicle, this unique remote start reuses the factory key fob to start the vehicle. By pushing the lock button on the factory key fob three times the vehicle will receive a command to start, after the vehicle is running it will flash the lights to confirm that the vehicle has started.
Another interesting thing about this installation is the MyStart app. This app allows you to start your vehicle from anywhere by using your smartphone. Not only will the MyStart app confirm that your vehicle started using its quick-back confirmation, it will also lock and unlock your doors. All these features are provided to the app user for no monthly fee.
